We did it! Thank you.
The votes are in... And with your support, we did it!
After nearly four months on the campaign trail, after visiting more than 8,000 homes and making 3,500 phone calls, after eight community meet-and-greets and dozens of community meetings, after endorsements from The Washington Post, MCEA, Sierra Club, The Gazette, SEIU Local 500, Progressive Maryland, Equality Maryland, and more - we are returning to Annapolis for another four years.
Thank you. Thank you for the last four years, when we worked together to protect our community’s priorities and make progress for Maryland. Thank you for offering me another chance to serve Silver Spring and Takoma Park in the Maryland General Assembly. Thank you for your passion for and dedication to our neighborhoods, our schools, and our businesses. Thank you for your support.
I believe that elections are a beginning, not an end. Campaigns aren’t about winning and losing; they’re about the work that we will do together over the next four years.
In my first term, I worked hard to stay in touch with as many of my neighbors and constituents as possible. In my second, I will redouble my efforts. And in that spirit, I want to hear from you - what are your priorities for our work together in Annapolis? I've got my to-do list; what's yours?

The work of the next four years starts today, and I hope you will join me. But for now – thank you.
