Silver Spring and Takoma Park take over the White House lawn

This past Saturday and Sunday, Silver Spring and Takoma Park took over the lawn at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Through my work with the White House, I received a stack of tickets to the Garden Tour being put on by the Obama White House, and nearly 75 families grabbed some first-come, first-served tickets.

The Tour was fantastic, covering the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, Rose Garden, Children’s Garden, the South Lawn of the White House, and Michelle Obama’s Kitchen Garden.
