Saying thank you

My father, a retired union welder, impressed on me at a young age how much it meant to him when our State Senator and my mentor, the late Penny Severns, came to his Caterpillar plant the morning after election day to thank the workers for their support.

And so, because saying "thank you" on the day after is just important as saying "vote for me" on Election Day, Team Mizeur headed out to the Takoma and Silver Spring Metro stations today to say thank you to everyone for the honor of serving another four years in the General Assembly. Just as it was four years ago, it was my favorite moment of the whole campaign!
